Hello and Welcome to the Official web site for THE SCENE. This site is dedicated to preserving the history and memory of the television dance show that ROCKED Detroit from October 1975 to December 31,1987. The Scene was never syndicated outside Detroit, except when we aired The Albany Scene. The Albany Scene was a show that included segments from Albany Georgia, produced by Brady Keys Jr. and edited to include dance and guest segments from our regular show.
I am currently in the process of upgrading the site by adding more content and videos from the show. This is site is a solo effort, meaning that I am the only person working on this site. I am now working on the site and adding content on a regular basis, so keep checking back with us. If you would like to become involved with the site and feel you can make a contribution please use the contact us link which is now working properly.

You are invited to join our community where you can network with other members (dancers, crew and fans), post photos, videos, audio, and basically do anything you can do on the popular social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace. The community site is called; thescenedanceshow.com. I also work on this site, assisting my daughter Natosha who started the site. I am a member and would like you to join and perhaps become my friend.
I personally would like to encourage all former dancers, crew members who worked on the show, those who did an internship or those who volunteered to join as well. If you are on the other sites then certainly you want to keep your part of History alive by letting people know about you. I am in the process as I said of upgrading the site and will be posting more pictures and videos of the crew, and some of the behind the scenes footage. What makes this so great is that many of you have photos and information that I do not have nor have ever seen that you can post on the Internet for the world to see . I am also working on a page dedicated to those who have passed on called Gone But Not Forgotten. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Stay tuned, there is certainly more to come.
